My Master’s Degree (Universität Hamburg and Universidade do Porto) focusses on latin languages and their literatures. I specialized myself in travel literature, comparative literature and translation studies.
Since 2015 I live in Sweden, where I work as a translator for a number of clients.
Besides translating other people’s work I also write myself and have published three hiking guides, one in Swedish and two in German.
My earlier publications and collaborations within Literature Sciences include:
- Die “Novas Cartas Portuguesas” – ein feministisches Manifest?
- Immigration und Staatliche Sprachkursangebote im Binationalen Vergleich – Portugal und Deutschland
- Das Literarische Umfeld des Portugiesischen Neorealismus
- Galicische Identitätskonstruktion(en). Die Xeración Nós und das Keltentum
- Novas Cartas Portuguesas. Entre Portugal e o Mundo
- New Portuguese Letters to the World: International Reception (Reconfiguring Identities in the Portuguese-Speaking World)
All of these you can also find on Amazon and other online bookstores.
Amongst my more extensive translation work you can find the german edition of Höga Kusten hiking guide by the swedish editor Calazo.
